Define wireless bridge. From what you write it's unclear if you really mean a wireless bridge. A wireless bridge links two wired segments through a wireless link. If you want toe E3200 to connect wirelessly to your parents wireless router then it's not possible. But your old WRT54G wouldn't do that either.
